Here, we celebrate Women's unique beauty and imbue each stitch with the essence of a journey familiar to many of us: one of overcoming adversity; of strong capacity for resilience in the face of life’s great challenges; of the (re)discovery of our true “self”; and of a tireless search for authenticity.
It was during a period of great uncertainty and personal turmoil that I realized a profoundly universal truth: we are all free to start over, without exception.

There are times when we need to defend ourselves. Or to apologize. Or to argue. Or abandon the discussion. Or to hold onto something with everything we have. Or to let certain things go. Or to be progressive and reform the status quo. Or to stop and listen to the wisdom of those who have been here for a long time. Or to recognize that, if we are unsatisfied with the direction our life is taking, we can just move — we are no trees to be taking roots. Or to realize that our life is ours alone and no one else's, and that we don't have to live subservient to other people's expectations — not if we don't want to; not if we don't allow it. Or to move on when we feel like it's finally, quietly, calmly, the right time for it.
We will never know the right choice to make in these crucial moments.
But there is, in new beginnings, in change, in transformation; a tremendous feeling of freedom as we face the horizon and can rest in the knowledge that we are masters of our destinies. The judges, juries and executors of our own sentences.
The transformative power of starting over serves, for me, as a guiding star; a compass that guides me, centers me and reminds me that, regardless of the challenges we face, we always have the power to rewrite our own history.
And it was upon witnessing this power that a spark was lit within me that would eventually lead to the creation of ROSA BOSSA .
The truth is that uncertainty and fear persist, remain, and accompany me daily. But I learn to tolerate them and use them as talismans, reminding myself not to fear change, but to welcome and nurture it, only then seeing the fruits of my efforts blossom and living my life on my own terms. Not through destiny, not through the power of the universe, but through my own capacity for perseverance, and that of all of us.
It’s certainly not easy – it never is! – but we do it for ourselves. Because fear is fleeting, and love is everlasting, and our hearts, fractured as they may be, still beat.
Who are we outside of the shadow of who others want us to be? And how scary it is to discover it... and how incredible too.
